Pray for our country today as we head to the polls to vote.

"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful."
Colossians 4:2

"But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ..."
Philippians 3:7-8

I love the concept that setbacks are in fact opportunities.  This biblical principle is definitely encouraging!

I'm praying 2 Chronicles 7:14 today, and I'm hoping you will join me!

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Until next time...

Blessings!

"The Lord is gracious and righteous;
our God is full of compassion.
The Lord protects the unwary;
when I was brought low, he saved me.
Return to your rest, my soul,
for the Lord has been good to you..."
Psalm 116:5-7

"...always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Ephesians 5:20

"This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says:
'In repentance and rest is your salvation,
in quietness and trust is your strength,
but you would have none of it." "
Isaiah 30:15

In quietness and trust is your strength.

I have been in a prayerful mood lately, so if you have any prayer requests, please share either in comments or email.

I hope your November is starting out well.  Please remember to pray for our country and the election tomorrow!

Until next time...

"Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us."
Romans 8:33-34

"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.  For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
Hebrews 4:14-16

What a wonderful devo for the beginning of a new month!  My prayer for us today is that we experience several  "tiny triumphs" as we communicate with Christ today.  Have a blessed Sunday and November!

Until next time...

Blessings!

I'm not a fan of Halloween.  This is the costume we should wear everyday, the Full Armor of God!

“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”
Exodus 3:5

"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;"
1 Corinthians 6:19

" 'Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.'  By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified."
John 7:38-39

From the devo:

Be a channel of My Love, Joy, and Peace by listening to Me as you listen to others.

Have a safe weekend, Lovelies!

Until next time...
