"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19

This is the third day this week I've seen and read Colossians 2:2-3 (one time during my Advent devotional).  It's stalking me!  I think God is trying to tell me something!

Until next time...

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.  And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."
Matthew 10:29-31

"By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible."
Hebrews 11:27

"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:18

Wow, today's devo is spot on with what we're currently experiencing in our world.  Take heart, My Lovelies, and continue to pray for truth, justice, healing, and peace.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."
Deuteronomy 6:5

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters..."
Colossians 3:23

"You make known to me the path of life;
    you will fill me with joy in your presence,
    with eternal pleasures at your right hand."
Psalm 16:11

I hope you are having a blessed Advent Season so far!  I loved the simplicity of today's devo: Christ wants our hearts, and this message has comforted me as our worship has changed drastically this year.

"In the shelter of your presence you hide them
    from all human intrigues;
you keep them safe in your dwelling
    from accusing tongues."
Psalm 31:20

"When he reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep. He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. There above it stood the Lord, and he said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying.  Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.  I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it."
Genesis 28:11-16

Today's devo featured a prayer I'd never thought of as a prayer before: "Surely the Lord is in this place!"  Jacob had quite an eventful life, and God promised to watch over him wherever he went.  He does the same for us, too.   What are your thoughts about today's lesson?

Until next time...

Blessings!
