Happy Monday, Friends! How was your weekend? It has been warm, rainy, and dark here in Central Alabama. But I did finish all interior Christmas decor, and I have a good handle on gifts, too.
Today is Veterans Day. Did you know that Birmingham has the oldest and one of the largest Veterans Day Parades? If you have the opportunity, thank a veteran today!
ATTENTION: I need y'all to email me and give me your preferred email address and your current mailing address please and thank-you! :D
I'm looking forward to our Bible Study this week. I am truly enjoying this book, and the art and prayers make me smile.
Here are three of the Bible verses from this week to get us started.
The floral theme was not intentional. These are recycled graphics.
But maybe it's God's way to tell us to bring some fresh flowers into our homes and spread some joy!
Prayer Requests
- Pray for our military and military families, and the Wisconsin National Guard deployed in Iraq.
- Pray for Kitty's son Mike to get a job that uses his talents.
- Rita asks for prayers for her sweet daughters for their fall graduate school semester. Pray for them to have a healthy and productive work/school/life balance.
- Pray for Rita's sister as she's moving, and also pray for her sisters helping her to move.
- Be in prayer for Carla's Florida friends still recovering from two hurricanes.
- Kitty asks if you could pray for Cissy’s emotional and mental wellbeing, please. You may recall that she was in a car accident a couple of weeks ago. She also requests that we pray for Eric also because he's miserable with his job. Pray that he can find something suitable for him with insurance.
- Rita asks that you pray for her daughter as she has a significant case of pneumonia, and she asks for your fervent prayers for her complete recovery. She is the mother of her granddaughter. Please continue to pray that she will get better everyday, and that the antibiotics will do the job.
- Pray for a peaceful and smooth transition of power between now and January 20, 2025.
Today is an absolutely beautiful day here in WV! We had a little rain over the weekend, too.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is recovering, thank you all for your prayers. She will return to work next week. Thank you also for prayers for my girls for their graduate work. They are both over the hump of the semester, soon to end.
This week is the big week for my sister & me to travel to SC and move our sister. I covet your prayers for a safe and successful trip!
Hello Friend,
ReplyDeleteWe are working finishing up a huge garden project. We built raised beds. I am so happy for this blessing, raised beds have been a dream of mine.
We are finishing up and starting to button up the garden and outside for winter.
Carla
Prayers for all. My preferred email is kmvavra@comcast.net. Linda from Life with Linda just put up a post about the no reply getting fixed to email. I hope that happens. Have a great rest of the week. Hugs. Kris
