Happy Friday, Friends! Have you had a good week? I hope you have, and I hope that you are taking plenty of time to just be still. It's so difficult during the holidays, isn't it!
I've been wrapping presents and doing a few creative Christmas crafts. It's been a lot of fun!
Did you enjoy the lessons this week? I know I did: I thought this was the very best week so far! One of my favorites is the biblical truth that once we belong to Jesus, nothing can snatch us from his loving hands. John 10:27-28 has often brought me comfort. From that same lesson we're reminded of all the subtle and not so subtle glimpses into God's provision in our lives.
Below is a sampling of scripture from this week's lesson.
Prayer Requests
- Pray for our military and military families, and the Wisconsin National Guard deployed in Iraq.
- Pray for Kitty's son Mike to get a job that uses his talents.
- Be in prayer for Carla's Florida friends still recovering from two hurricanes.
- Kitty asks if you could pray for Cissy’s emotional and mental wellbeing, please. You may recall that she was in a car accident a few of weeks ago. She also requests that we pray for Eric also because he's miserable with his job. Pray that he can find something suitable for him with insurance.
- Rita asks that you pray for her daughter as she has a significant case of pneumonia, and she asks for your fervent prayers for her complete recovery. She is the mother of her granddaughter. Please continue to pray that she will get better everyday, and that the antibiotics will do the job.
- Pray for a peaceful and smooth transition of power between now and January 20, 2025.
- Travel mercies for Trip and me as we fly to Dallas for a wedding this weekend.
Have a great weekend, Friends!
Until next time...
Blessings!
Ricki Jill
I loved this week’s lesson, also, Ricki Jill, and smiled as I read it, thinking how much that scripture pertains to our lives.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to our prayer family and God bless each of you as we lift each other in prayer.
Happy Friday, prayer warriors! Nothing but praises from me this Friday. My sister is moved, and my daughter is recovered from pneumonia & back to work. Your prayers were felt! I'm behind on my devotions, but plan to catch up this weekend. Have a good one, everyone.
ReplyDeleteI love our study that we are doing. The art work makes me smile too.
ReplyDeleteI am praying for all ... love you!
