Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die..."
John 11:25
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Matthew 11:28-29
"Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1 Peter 1:8-9 (KJV)
Today's devo reminds me of a poem I taught my HS students, "Thanatopsis" by William Cullen Bryant. Basically the poem is about how we all share the same fate: death, so we might as well eat, drink and be merry. The lyrical poem also glorifies natural death and makes it sound noble because we contribute to the continuation of nature. I respectfully disagree because we have eternal life, which is even MORE noble: We are heirs to a heavenly inheritance!
Please share your prayer requests with us today, Friends!
Until next time...
Blessings!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
Philippians 4:6
"You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you."
Isaiah 26:3
"Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all."
2 Thessalonians 3:16 (NKJV)
Happy March, Friends! Spring is right around the corner, and I am so grateful for that! I'm also grateful for today's devo, reminding us that through Christ's peace, we are rich indeed.
I hope you go into your day in peace, and that He will keep you in perfect peace all month long!
Blessings!

"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven."
Luke 6:37
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
John 3:16-17
"I will rejoice greatly in the Lord,
My soul will be joyful in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
As a groom puts on a turban,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels."
Isaiah 61:10 (NASB)
"My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in."
Proverbs 3:11-12
I love today's devo: What a positive way to end the month of February! I like the comparison aspect of judging in the lesson as well as from where we need our affirmation:
The only source of real affirmation is My unconditional Love.
Have a blessed Sunday, My Sweet Friends!
Until next time...
Blessings!

"Yet I am always with you;
you hold me by my right hand."
Psalm 73:23
"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."
1 Corinthians 10:13
I am enjoying these devos lately (including today's) reminding us to focus on today, and to not worry about tomorrow.
I hope y'all have a fun Saturday, Friends, and let's not worry about Sunday!
Until next time...
Blessings!
