This is the Advent and Christmas devotional I can't put down this season.
I'm reviewing it today on The Sketchy Reader.

Today's devo truly warmed my heart. It is such a blessing to be able to commune with the King of the Universe. He loves us so much, and we are so blessed that he listens and encourages us to spend time with him!

This is an Advent devotional I have enjoyed in recent years.
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
Ephesians 6:12
"All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands."

Isn't it comforting to know that we have a warrior in Jesus who fights our battles for us! The passage in Ephesians from today's devo tells us to put on the Full Armor of God because that's the only way we can be victorious over the "spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

As todays devo reminds us, we need Christ's Peace each moment to accomplish his purposes in our lives.

My Christmas present to myself
"The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:

I loved today's devo, and my prayer for us today is we will make time during this Advent Season to be still in His Presence. After all, the premise of Jesus Calling is "enjoying peace in his presence." I will admit that I find it even more difficult to be still this time of year, so I've decided to wake up earlier during the month of December.
How do you find the extra time during this busy season to spend with Christ? I could use some help here!
