Happy Flag Day, Friends!
Happy Friday, Friends! Have you had a nice week?
I have mixed emotions about this week's devotion. I disagree that you must first focus on losing someone before you can fully love them. I tend to not think about losses before having to face them. To me that's borrowing trouble, as my grandmother used to say. Just my opinion. What are your thoughts about the lesson?
Here is this week's scripture:
Prayer Requests
- Rita asks for us to pray for her younger daughter's relationship struggles, and that she will listen to God's spirit within to make the right decisions.
- Pray for Kitty's son Mike to get a job. AI has taken away many jobs in his industry. Mike might have the opportunity to redo a game with a friends. Let's pray that this works out for him, and it will lead to more opportunities.
- Please continue to pray for our military and military families.
- Continue to pray for Carla's son Sam and the 157th! Sam is in Louisiana training. It's hot there, y'all! Pray that he will stay hydrated.
- Praise to God for allowing us to live during this time in the greatest Republic the world has ever known.
- It looks like John has been accepted as a patient at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. It could be up to 12 weeks before he is admitted. He has seen several specialists in the last 3 or 4 years. Diana says if they don't get any answers there, they are pretty much out of options as far as improvement in his quality of life. Let's pray for a speedy admittance and answers!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Until next time...
Blessings!

Happy Monday, Friends! How was your weekend? We went blueberry picking, and had a blast. So guess what today's post's theme is???
This week's lesson is entitled "losing grace." If I'm being honest, I don't like the title. Obviously I haven't read it yet, but it's usually not good to lose things. This week's scripture doesn't seem to fit with the title, does it...
- Please continue to pray for Shanley Belle and Christopher. Also, pray for Trip because he's having his genetic testing today. Shelley's isn't scheduled yet.
- Pray for Nana Diana's husband, John. He is being admitted into Mayo Clinic, and we need to pray for discernment and guidance for his medical team.
- Praise to God for allowing us to live during this time in the greatest Republic the world has ever known.
- Kitty asks for us to pray for travel mercies for her and her whole family before and during their vacation to Cancun on June 9th-13th. (They left yesterday and will return on Thursday.)
Happy Friday, Friends! How has your week been? I've been spending most of my time this week cooking and putting up vegetables for winter. I'm turning into my grandmother!
This week's devotion is entitled "endless grace." I thought it was such a sweet lesson. Ann chooses to put aside the chores focus on holding her sleeping child and committing to memory her daughter's precious features. I can remember when Shanley Belle was a newborn, and I'd get up in the wee hours for the early, early feedings. I can remember watching Elizabeth Vargas on the (very early) news, and hoping and praying that God would bless me by helping me to remember those precious moments. And in His Goodness, He did!
Here is this week's scripture:
Also mentioned in the lesson:
Perfect love casts out all fear.
That quote was taken from:
- Rita asks for us to pray for her younger daughter's relationship struggles, and that she will listen to God's spirit within to make the right decisions.
- Pray for Kitty's son Mike to get a job. AI has taken away many jobs in his industry. Mike might have the opportunity to redo a game with a friends. Let's pray that this works out for him, and it will lead to more opportunities.

- Please continue to pray for Shanley Belle and Christopher. Also, pray for Trip and our daughter Shelley as they will have their genetic testing soon.
- Pray for Nana Diana's husband, John. He is being admitted into Mayo Clinic, and we need to pray for discernment and guidance for his medical team.
- Praise to God for allowing us to live during this time in the greatest Republic the world has ever known.
- Kitty asks for us to pray for travel mercies for her and her whole family before and during their vacation to Cancun on June 9th-13th (they are leaving Sunday).
Happy Monday, Friends! I hope you're having a lovely start to your week. Last week was a wee bit challenging with Memorial Day on Monday, plus we were also busy with activities during the rest of the week. I couldn't seem to get caught-up!
Can you believe it's already June? This year is flying by, isn't it! I am so happy to report that this is the first month in years I haven't had a doctor's appointment. Alleluia!
This week's lesson is entitled "endless grace." I'm hoping to read it this afternoon because my morning will be filled with errands.
