Monday, Week Eight

White roses fit for a bride

Happy Monday, Friends!

This week's focus is on how Jesus encouraged Peter.  I enjoy reading about Peter because he is very spontaneous and unrestrained.  I will most definitely enjoy this week's guided journaling!

I also have a prayer request:

Our daughter Shelley's best friend Amelia is getting married next month, and we are hosting a Bridal Afternoon Tea for her on Saturday.  Please pray that she will be blessed, and that everything will go well.  We had a vendor who was supplying the party favors plus an activity, and with very little notice the company canceled on us Thursday.  It has been a scramble, but I think we have a solution.

Do y'all have any prayer requests?

Until next time...

Blessings!
Ricki Jill

  1. Prayers for Sam .. he currently is at Fort Riley, Kansas with his team training.

Praying for Mark Milley, may he find that telling the TRUTH about selling out his country the correct thing to do!! And to our TRUE brave men and women who are the boots on the ground may they know how much they are LOVED.. compared to AWFUL men at the leadership selling their lives!!!

  2. Good Tuesday morning! I'm a little late to week 8, but am happy to see it's a continuation of encouragement. Let me say I know your vendor disappointed you and had added stress to your plans, but I am also willing to bet your ideas will be equal or, likely, better!
Please pray for my friend's son-in-law who had a benign brain tumor removed last Fri. He is a young father of two with his wife by his side, on a journey to recovery. I ask for a prayer also that there will be an enthusiastic buyer for our condo home so that the stress of two homes will be short-lived. In general, prayers for all who are dealing with stressful situations - relationships, financial, safety, etc. May each find strength to gracefully handle. Thank you!

  3. Oh no about the vendor canceling. I know with your creative and artistic soul you will have something cute. The best gift is you having the bridal tea and being all together for her special day to celebrate her upcoming wedding. Life can really throw us some curves in the road! Good luck I know the tea will be beautiful. xoxo Kris
