Happy Monday, My Lovelies! It warms my heart to see how God is answering our prayers, and Rita has shared with us how her brother's disability was finally approved. We have been praying for this situation for months: What a praise!
I want to share a link with you for a free PDF entitled The Power of Prayer: A Five Day Devotional. It's sponsored by Open Doors. Here is the LINK.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.~1 John 5:14
This week's lesson is not about prayer; it's about living a more focused life, especially accomplishing what needs to be done in the present. It looks like a good lesson!
Do you have any prayer requests?
The only ones I have for this week:
- Carla's son Sam and his brigade are doing well at Fort Hood, and next week they will depart for Djibouti. Let's remember to pray for them as they finish training and travel to East Africa.
- I start my radiation today, and I will have therapy every weekday for four weeks. Thank you so much for praying for me during my treatment!
- Pray for Rita's BIL's health issue, and her granddaughter Baby J is getting ear tubes tomorrow.
Until next time...
Blessings!

Thank you for the updates to our prayers, and also for the devotional. I'll be focusing on these this week. Please add my bil (same one with bypass) back on your list. He is back in hospital, this time with diverticulitis. The prayer petition is that antibiotics will suffice without the need for surgery, which could involve anything from a drain to major resection.
ReplyDeleteRicki Jill, there's no hyperlink where indicated!
ReplyDeleteI’ll be praying for all the requests.
ReplyDeleteMy son still is without a job and prayers are still needed. My one granddaughter is doing better. Thank you for prayers.
Good luck with your treatment tomorrow, Ricki Jill.
Praying for all the requests. Thank you for keeping us updated.
ReplyDeleteAnd extra hugs to you my dear.
Love you!
