February 19, 2021

Camellia japonica L
This late bloomer blooms throughout the winter in Alabama, and it's our state flower.

God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”
Exodus 3:14

"Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.

The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights."

Habakkuk 3:17-19

I've always gotten a kick out of the verse from Exodus.  I've often wondered if God was trolling Moses, and I think it's a wee bit funny.  What do you think?

Prayer requests?

Until next time...

Blessings!
