"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
Philippians 4:4-6

Happy Tuesday, Friends!  My Gratitude Project lesson today was about how gratitude (or thankfulness) can defeat darkness!  In 2 Chronicles 20, God directed King Jehoshaphat to have singers and and worshippers lead their army into battle...on the front lines!  Gratitude is extremely powerful, and darkness cannot stand against it.

And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say,

“Give thanks to the Lord,
for his steadfast love endures forever.”

2 Chronicles 20:21 (ESV)

Until next time...

Blessings!
