"Then Jesus said to his disciples: 'Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.  For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.  Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!  Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?' "
Luke 12:22-26

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Deuteronomy 31:6

"We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
2 Corinthians 10:5

Wow, today's devo is very timely.  Worry is definitely a waste of time and energy, and it can't add a single hour to your life!

I have a prayer request:  I've been a bit under the weather lately (nothing serious; allergy related), and I would appreciate your prayers.  Please share your prayer requests either in comments or via email.

Until next time...

Blessings!

  1. I'll add you to my list, RJ. My older daughter went for allergy testing last week and was found to be pretty much allergic to EVERYthing (but her dogs, yay!)
