Christmas tag journal

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

Luke 1:35

"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

John 1:14

"When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.  When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.  And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh."

"Because of the tender mercy of our God,

With which the Sunrise (the Messiah) from on high will dawn and visit us,

I read today's devo last night after looking at the Christmas star.  The wise men set out on their journey, found Jesus, and worshiped him because of a star.  I love everything about the Christmas story!
