“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,  that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.  I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—  I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”
John 17:20-23

"He gives strength to the weary
    and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 40:29-31

How wonderful is it knowing that Jesus prays for us!  Today's devo is short but sweet.  My favorite quote is the first sentence:

Come to me with empty hands and an open heart, ready to receive abundant blessings.

How is your week so far?  Do you have any prayer requests?

Until next time...

Blessings!

    One of my favorites... I have this one hanging above our front door.
