Sometimes I need to practice the basics so I can be a better artist.  

"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."

Hebrews 11:6

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.  God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."

John 4:23-24

Today's devo is definitely a "back to basics" lesson with several points:

• Without faith in God and his promises, it's impossible to please Him.
• Be concerned about pleasing God first, others not so much.
• We must worship God in Spirit and in truth.

I hope y'all have a super week!  I did receive your prayer requests from last week, and I have been praying.  I have been answering emails yesterday and this morning, so I hope I'm caught-up by the time you read this post!
