"Look to the Lord and his strength;seek his face always."Psalm 105:4
She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!”
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
Luke 10: 39-42
I should probably read today's devo at the beginning of every. single. day.....
(Note: I started reading these devos last May, so this is my first time reading this one.)
Do y'all have any prayer requests? Please continue to pray for our country, especially 2 Chronicles 7:14. There will be big happenings in D.C. on January 6th.
Until next time...
Blessings!

ReplyDeleteThis is a great reminder that yes, we have many things going on in life that are very important but God should always come first. ❤ Yes, we do need to pray for our Nation. January 6th will be a day we need to pray for peace and harmony. Prays for Jim are still needed while he battles COVID in the ICU.
